THE HUMAN IMPACT

Sara spent close to two years working with The Human Impact, a nonprofit in Dallas, Texas, serving those experiencing chronic, long-term homelessness. During that time, she was able to develop many close relationships with the people she documented. She was able to follow them as they navigated the experience of homelessness. This included several major encampment closures by the City of Dallas and the displacement or relocation of those living in the encampment.
