COLOR OF BOYHOOD

The Color of Boyhood was born as a result of the unrest and calls to action in the summer of 2020 after the murder of George Floyd. The project featured images and interviews with Black and Brown boys as they reflected on their experiences of growing up in a society that often saw them as a threat. The project was largely led by the boys as they directed the activities and chose which aspects of their lives they wanted documented.
